Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions of placing an order with Flowers by Amanda.

Payment for on-line orders

Payments may be made on-line using any major credit card or debit cards or alternatively via a secure Paypal service. Note you do not have to have a Paypal account to use the secure Paypal service.

Payments can be made over the telephone using any major credit card or debit card, with the exception of American Express.

Your card details are not recorded by Flowers by Amanda or passed to any third party.

Payment for wedding orders

Wedding orders are required to be paid in full a week in advance of the wedding date.

Flowers Purchased through the on-line ordering service

The purchase of flowers are except from the 7 days ‘cooling off’ period that is applicable to other goods under the distance selling regulations. This is because they a perishable goods.

Note this means that once an order is placed the order cannot be cancelled or the goods returned.

Flowers by Amanda reserve the right to substitute flowers or products, whenever necessary, with an alternative of equal or greater value and quality.

Delivery

Currently Flowers by Amanda only offer a local delivery service in and around the Plymouth area for wedding and funeral orders

Providing correct addresses, postcodes and telephone numbers are essential to ensuring a prompt delivery is achieved.

If the flowers are required at a particular time then it needs to be agreed with Amanda on ordering the flowers.

When flowers are delivered to a recipient and they are not at home a card will be placed through the door informing them of the delivery and where it has been left or alternatively a contact number to re arrange the delivery at their convenience. If possible the arrangement will be left with a neighbour.

Funeral orders will be delivered at least two hours before the funeral time. Note once the flowers are delivered to the funeral director and signed for, Flowers by Amanda can take no responsibility for any flowers that may be damaged /lost or cards that may be missing.

Complaints

If for any reason you are not satisfied with any product or service provided please make a notify Amanda within 48 hours of the product arriving and or service being delivered. Amanda takes any form of customer complaint very seriously.

However, Amanda will not accept any complaints that are after 7 days of the delivery date, owing to the perishable nature of the goods.

Our Privacy Policy

Flowers by Amanda can only access the information that is necessary to process your order, i.e. your name, address, phone number and email address. In addition as part of the order process we also have the recipient’s name, address and phone number.

It should be noted that all information is used in accordance to the Data Protection Act 1998 and is not passed to a third party.

All credit card and Debit card information is used and accessible by Paypal or the HSBC merchant services.

However if you register on the Flower by Amanda website, your details will be stored, so you do not need to keep entering your details. This will make ordering in future quicker and easier.
